Catholic Priest Kidnapped In Kaduna

Rev. Fr. John Bako Shekwolo has been kidnapped by unknown persons on Monday in Kaduna.

The Archdiocese of Kaduna made this known to the public in a statement issued to the newsmen by its Chancellor, Rev. Fr Daniel J. Kyom.

Fr. John Shewolo, until his kidnap by unknown persons, he was the parish priest of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church Ankwa, Kachia L.G.A, Kaduna state.

The Archdiocese in a passionate appeal to the abductors begged for the safe release of the clergy.

“As we ask for prayers of the faithful of our Archdiocese and beyond for the quick release of Fr. Skewolo, we appeal to the consciences of those who abducted him to kindly release him unharmed.”
