Shatta Wale Reacts To Ghanaian Artistes Not Being Nominated For BET Awards

Shatta Wale has reacted to Ghanaian artistes not being nominated the 2019 BET Awards, just after it was announced that Teni, Mr Eazi and Burna Boy made the list.

In his tweet which served as a reaction to Ghanaian artistes not being nominated for the 2019 BET Awards, Shatta Wale wrote;

International Nominations come ooo and our Ghanaian international artiste are not there ooooo ..I beg let me concentrate on my Local awards and go collect all in Jesus name … 2knowww life go kill Ghana artiste ..mcheeeeewww.

Recall we reported that while Burna Boy and Mr Eazi were nominated in the Best international act category, Teni was nominated in the Best new international act category. Burna Boy and Mr Eazi will be competing with South African rapper, AKA, UK acts, Dave and Giggs, and Aya Nakamura and Dosseh from France to win the category they were nominated in.

Teni on the other hand was nominated alongside Sho Madjodzi from South Africa, Headie One and Octavian from the UK and France’s Jokair and Nesly for the Best new international act category. However it should be noted that Cardi B got the most nominations in this year’s BET Awards. She is going into the awards with 8 nominations which include video of the year with her hits “Money” and “Please Me,” with Bruno Mars, best female hip-hop artist, the viewer’s choice award and album of the year with her Grammy-winning major-label debut, “Invasion of Privacy.”
