Exclusive: Man beaten to stupor for stealing bike in Lagos

A man has been beaten to stupor by angry mobs for allegedly stealing a commercial bike known as okada.

The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, December 31, in Oke-Ira, Ogba, Ojodu local government area of Lagos state.

The Herald reporter at the scene gathered that the rubber had already stolen the bike but was caught while trying to escape with it.

One of the eyewitnesses said the suspect was caught because the okada had a flat tire. The man was later handed over to the police amidst jungle justice.
