COVID-19: Desmond Elliot Begins A 5-Day Fumigation Exercise In His Constituency – PHOTOS & VIDEOS

Popular Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot has begun a 5-day fumigation exercise in his constituency. 

This is to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease in his constituency and it is also an effort he is making towards eliminating the diseases from the shores of Nigeria.

Taking to his Instagram handle, he announced the commencement of the exercise saying;

It’s worth stating here that the eventuality of the negative effect of COVID-19 in our society. Outrightly and without mincing words, have dragged our major institution backward, especially, the economic institutions , prayer institutions and educational sector.
The World Health Organization (WHO), commened that the impact of COVID-19, reminds us that it is time for world leaders and policy makers to see this pandemic as our new reality, which requires our creative ideas to ensure that activities go back to normal in reducing the risk of the citizens contracting the pandemic.
In line with the guidelines and regulations by the Federal Government that precautionary measures need to be put in place to forestall the spread of the virus. As such, Hon. Desmond Elliott (Member, Lagos State House Of Assembly) has deemed it fit as a responsibility towards his constituents to set out a five day activity to fumigate, disinfect and dicontaminate the environment, for the purpose of having a free Coronavirus society
