After surviving 6 gun shots to the stomach and legs, see how actor, Charles Okocha, is looking now (Photos)

 

One of Nollywood’s notorious actors, Charles Okocha, who is best known as Igwe 2pac, survived a gunshot wound to the stomach 5 years ago, and he’s doing great now.

Charles, is said to have been shot by a drunk policeman whiles on his way back from a wedding he attended at Nnewi, Anambra State.

He was said to have been approached by this policeman, but when he noticed the man was drunk, he decided to move away from him, and from the alcohol smell.

However, the policeman who was holding a gun, fired 6 shots at him, which injured parts of his body including his navel.

According to the actor, he thought he was going to die after he saw part of his intestines pop out of his stomach. But he was saved by a good Samaritan who rushed him to the nearest hospital and he luckily survived after an operation.

Aside from acting, Charles Okocha is also a rapper and a songwriter who hails from Anambra but grew up in Surulere, Lagos.
