Journalist Tosin Transferred to Suleja prison

 

Tosin Adeniji, a journalist who was covering the ENDSARS protest at @nassnigeria was arrested and taken to Police CIID in Abuja. 

She was allegedly beaten for asking for her lawyer before writing a statement. 

Tosin was brought before a Magistrate who denied her bail and had her case adjourned till January 2021.

Justice Abdulrazak Eneye of magistrate Court 8 Wuse signed the detention warrant to remand her for covering the EndSars Protest.

She has now been transferred to Suleja prison.
