Nigerian Author Wole Soyinka Receives First Dose COVID-19 Vaccine
Nigerian playwright Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka widely called Wole Soyinka has taken the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the National Primary Health Care Agency, the Nobel laureate received the vaccine on Friday, March 12. Tomi Coker, Commissioner for Health in Ogun State administered the vaccine to him.
Sharing photos of Wole Soyinka flashing his vaccination card, the health agency wrote;
