Prince Harry lands first corporate world job at U.S.-based mental health firm
Prince Harry has officially joined the corporate world. In his new role, he will serve as Chief Impact Officer at BetterUp Inc.
The company is a San Francisco, California-based start-up that provides online professional development coaching and mental-health counseling.
Prince Harry will focus on driving advocacy and awareness for mental fitness, guiding BetterUp’s mission, and expanding the company’s community.
In a blog post, Harry said he is joining BetterUp because he believes in the company’s mission of being proactive about mental health.
“Being attuned with your mind, and having a support structure around you, are critical to finding your own version of peak performance,” he wrote.
In an interview, Alexi Robichaux CEO & Co-founder Better Up said, “the most impressive thing has been his focus singularly on how can he be of service, how can he advance his vision, so i have a feeling he’ll work out.”
Robichaux added that the prince “likes to be called Harry in the workplace, so we just call him Harry”
His working hours and pay have however remained strictly confidential.
