The federal government has extended the work-from-home directive for civil servants on Grade Level 12 and below until June 11, 2021.

This is part of measures aimed at containing the spread of deadly strains of COVID-19 in the country.

According to the Presidential Steering Committee On COVID-19, after the date in June, the directive may be reviewed.

It would be recalled that the Nigerian government also reintroduced some measures: curfew and restricting gatherings at worship centres and banning night clubs.
