Project Fame Runner-up to Host Talent Hunt in Ibadan Secondary Schools

The second runner-up of the popular reality show; MTN Project Fame Season 5; Adetoun Adekoya Oshodi fondly called Omolope by her fans has revealed plans to organize a talent hunt specially focused on kids in secondary schools in Ibadan, the Oyo state Capital.

The Talent Hunt tagged 3D (Discover, Develop, Dazzle) is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 26th May, 2021 at Felicia Hall, Jogor Event Centre, Ibadan as proposed by the organizer.

Adetoun who disclosed that the talent hunt will accommodate about seventy secondary schools within Ibadan revealed that the inspiration behind this project is the opportunity she got in the past to develop her talent beyond the four corners of a classroom.

The project Fame runner up opined that there is need to look beyond the academic prism and thoroughly explore the talents enmeshed in kids so as to discover, groom and tailor such talents to the benefit of the child, the country and the world. She also hinted that a lot of undiscovered and budding talents have been wasted because there were no efforts to help discover and nurture their talent.

“Truth be told, the existing curriculum of most schools focuses primarily on developing the student’s academic capabilities; However, this is just one of the many channels through which a child can be formed and equipped for global relevance.”

“The discovery of their music gifts can just be one of the channels to greatness just like MTN Project Fame discovered me in season 5.”

“We will be visiting 70 secondary schools in Oyo State ( both private and public) to conduct music auditioning in each of the schools with the goal of picking the best 3 in each school in order to compete in a larger poll of over 150 students at the final 3D KIDS TALENT HUNT” she said.

For sponsorship or partnership, the organizer can be reached at: +234 816 609 8191, +234 701 244 3687 or 3dtalenthunt@gmail.com.
