FEW HOURS To Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial, HURIWA Blasts FG, Reveals HARSH Treatment Of IPOB Leader

Just few hours to the court appearance of beloved IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria has Lambasted the Federal Government, the Nigerian Judicial system over what it describes as the unconstitutional, provocative, primitive, illegal and outrageously non- methodical treatment of the Biafra agitator.

Nnamdi Kanu is due for court on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, to continue his defence of the Treasonable and Terrorism related charges levied against him by the Nigerian Federal Government at the Federal High Court, FCT.

Nnamdi Kanu is being represented by the likes of his loyal legal attorney, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and well known and reputable Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) as they look to defend the IPOB boss under the eyes of the Honourable Justice Binta Nyako.

In a report by Daily Post Nigeria, HURIWA would state that, the handling of the trial of Nnamdi Kanu has not been transparent, fair or just. The group would launch a scathing attack directed at the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami stating that the Nigeria’ s Minister of Justice has continued to disobey court processes and show disrespect, disregard to the principle of rule of law.

The Group would state that, ” The constant illegal and provocative amendment of charges and the frequent multiplication of same charges by the federal government are as primitive, callous, wicked and it is a medieval type of practice which is totally unconstitutional” .

HURIWA would further disclose that the frequent amendment of the charges against Nnamdi Kanu for a total of 4 four times now were done to delay and frustrate the trial of the IPOB leader. They would conclude by charging the court to wake up as the nation’ s executives were flouting its rules Willy nilly in the trial of Nnamdi Kanu.
