Losing weight is hard, but keeping it off is even harder. Learning how to lose weight permanently will stop you from having weight loss complications. It will also prevent skin issues that come with weight fluctuations and starting and stopping different weight loss plans.

Create a suitable exercise plan 

Going too fast into high-intensity exercises can lead to crashing and giving up before you even start to see results. So tailor your exercises to suit your capacity and lifestyle.

Avoid eating between meals 

Snacking on biscuits, potato chips, and other junk foods can put serious wahala in your weight loss plan. So avoid buying corn or boli (we know it’s the season) and just stick to three square meals.

If you have to, snack on fruits and nuts 

If your long throat is too much and you absolutely have to snack, eat fruits or nuts. Almonds, cashews, orange, watermelon, and the likes are very filling and will keep your mouth happy. Don’t overeat them though.

Avoid high-density calorie foods

As much as one small noodles seem like it’s not a lot, it has more calories than a big plate of jollof rice plus chicken. So you might want to lay off the noodles and carbs and try high fiber foods instead.

Take lots of fruits and water

Not just to help keep you fuller, but they are also the best for flushing out excess waste from your body and detoxifying your system to help metabolism and aid weight loss.

Stay away from liquid calories 

Coke, Fanta, La’casera, and other soda drinks are packed with calories. You’ll also still feel thirsty and want more so that’s a lot more calories than you need. Drink lime water instead or just buy an orange.

Do these deliberately and you will be able to lose weight effectively and keep it off permanently.
