Policeman Caught As Gunmen Storm APC Chieftain’s House Ahead Of Elections. Photos
Reports have it that Rt. Hon Tsav Stephen, the former speaker Benue State House of Assembly who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), escaped assassination attempt on him by a group of hired gunmen on Friday morning (yesterday).
According to reports, it all started when one police officer name Timothy Igba (in red) and three others drove to Tsav’s house in a Gulf car, after greeting Tsav, they sat together with other party loyalists.
Eye witnesses gave vivid account that one of them sneaked to the backyard and drop a gun behind the kitchen house when it became clearer to them that the number of people in Tsav’s house were becoming to crowdy.
It was Tsav’s son who sighted the gun behind the kitchen house and raised alarm.
Two of them who entered the house were apprehended after attempting to escape, the other two who were already sitted in the car zoom off.
They have been taken to C Division North Bank Makurdi where they allegedly confessed that the guns were given to them by a politician.
