Paris Fashion Week: Photos From Valentino’s ‘Poetics’ And Givenchy ‘Winter Of Eden’ Shows

Janelle Monáe, Lili Reinhart, Katherine Langford, Sofia Carson, Rebel Wilson, Rosamund Pike and Gal Gadot, were among the guests at Valentino and Givenchy event at the Paris Fashion Week.

According to THR , for the 2019 collections, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli focused on the art of love at Valentino, while Givenchy delved into “a winter of Eden” theme.

Guests received a book of poetry by the four artists, entitled Valentino on Love, and phrases were embroidered or printed as hidden heartfelt messages inside the clothing and accessories.

While guests arriving at the Givenchy show in the Jardin des Plantes ( a botanical garden) were greeted by the name Givenchy spelled out in large block letters that were lit and emanating smoke. And the creative director Clare Waight-Keller’s show for Givenchy encouraged guests to “reconcile geometrics with an innate softness.”
