Eldee The Don Calls Out Olu Maintain For Performing His Song, ‘Big Boy’

Eldee has taken to his Instagram to slam his colleague Olu Maintain for performing his 2009 hit song, Big Boy , at a concert held on Monday in Manhattan, New York.

Recall that the Big Boy record was Eldee’s lead single off the 2008 album of the same name, and it featured the likes of Olu Maintain, Banky W and Oladel.

It has been years since the song became a street jingle, since both artists slinked away from the spotlight, and now fans have come to learn that they are civil to each other. Which is why Eldee would easily slam him on social media.

“This shameless nigga out on stages performing my songs like he created it. I still remember how he tried to steal the record after I put him on it, forcing me to put it out prematurely,” said Eldee.

He further added, “Nigga ran off with the unmastered draft and went to print CDs with himself as the lead artist, even his verse was written by me #Appropriation #getyourownshit Lesson to young artist Don’t ever do pity features.”

While his outburst has stirred mixed reactions, Olu Maintain had yet to respond to it as at press time.
