Romelu Lukaku Hits Back At Critics Who Says He Had A Dressing Room Burst Up With Pogba
Romelu Lukaku has hit back at The Sun newspaper over a story suggesting he had a dressing room bust-up with Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba.
The Belgian striker, who has found a purple patch of form in recent weeks, took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to dismiss the rumours as “lies”.
The newspaper claims Lukaku had a “dramatic bust-up” with Pogba after being denied a hat-trick when the midfielder took a last-minute penalty against Southampton on Saturday.
Lukaku had already scored twice when the penalty was given and is said to have had a “stern”
conversation with Pogba that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had to break up.
However, Lukaku claims the story is nonsense. He wrote on Twitter: “When the hate don’t work they start telling lies…”

The story, which appears on the back page of the paper and continues inside on page 52, quotes a United source, who says:
“It was quite a stern conversation and Romelu was clearly not happy about what Pogba had done.
“He was quick to remind Paul how much he had helped him when he fell out with Mourinho.
“It needed Ole to calm the situation down.”
