Rapper YNW Melly Pleads Not Guilty To Double Murder

YNW Melly (real name: Jamell Demons) has pled not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

According to XXL , this was confirmed by the Broward State Attorney’s Office who also revealed that the rapper’s co-defendant Cortlen Henry (aka YNW Bortlen) has an arraignment scheduled for Monday, March 11.

Recall that the Florida rapper was arrested on first-degree murder charges on Wednesday, February 13.
According to Miramar Police, Demons shot and killed aspiring rappers Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams on October 26 in South Florida. Demons and Henry allegedly staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by shooting had occurred, according to authorities.
