Gov. Bagudu Reacts As Customs Officer, Spouse Burn To Dying
Kebbi Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has condoled the household of a retired Customs Officer, Alhaji Faruk Umaru, and his spouse, Hajiya Nasara Yusuf, who died because of hearth outbreak on Sunday, March 31.
Bagudu expressed his condolences in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday when he joined tons of of Muslims on the three-day Fidda’u Prayer for the repose of the soul of the victims.
The prayer session was attended by members of the state govt council, state House of Assembly members, politicians, conventional rulers in addition to prime authorities functionaries.
Islamic students made particular supplication to God to grant mercy to the deceased.
The Ulama had been Mallam Abubakar Kakale, Mallam Haruna Gwandu, Mallam Umaru Sala, the Chief Imam in Government House, Birnin Kebbi, and Mallam Muhammad Nata’ala.
They prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdausi and the members of the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that late Faruq, handed away on the age of 63, whereas his spouse, Nasara, on the age of 53 in a hearth outbreak that consumed their home, abandoning 13 youngsters.
Hajiya Nasara, till her dying, was the Executive Secretary within the state Primary School Staff Pension Board.
