Scoop Makhathini Catches The Wave With Faith XLVII & Bobo Ndima [Hennessy Edition] [Part 1]

A brand that associates itself with people who are self aware and have something to say, Hennessy has blended its elements with South African-born, Los Angeles-based artist Faith XLVII for its 2020 Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition series that represents an auspicious meeting of minds.

For this, we got Scoop Makhathini to catch the wave with a few young people who are the leaders of the new generation in their respective fields for the Hennessy edition of Catching Waves. To start it off, Scoop chats with the lady behind the bottle design, Faith XLVII. On this explosives and candid chat, Faith speaks of her transition from graffiti and street art, to modern contemporary art. Self-aware and aware of the world in which she lives, Faith stresses on equalling the scales, be it racially or in gender. And this collaboration with Hennessy couldn’t have come at a better time – as she is the first female to design a bottle for the brand.

On the second part of the show, Scoop sits down with Bobo Ndima, otherwise known as, Bob The Stylist. With a journey that started in retail and then a call centre, Bob took a leap of faith as he stepped out and into what he believed to be his purpose – and sure did it pay off. Inspired by his father, Bob grew a love for fashion and fabric, and with this, he contributes to style with timelessness. There are a couple of tricks Bobo still has up his sleeve, and moving into the rap game is one of them.

Watch below as Scoop chats it up with Faith XLVII and Bob The Stylist in collaboration with Hennessy;
