You Were Cleaning Obasanjo’s Shoes In Aso Villa- Soludo Slams Andy Ubah
Professor Charles Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the November 6, 2021, governorship election launched a scathing rebuke on Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Uba, a close associate of then-President Olusegun Obasanjo, was allegedly a domestic service member in the Aso Villa, polishing the former President’s shoes, according to Soludo.
During an Arise TV-sponsored governorship election debate in Anambra, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) made the remarks while discussing his connection with Uba.
In his words: “I know Andy was a Masseur in the U.S.
“He was a domestic staff in the Villa, who cleans the President’s shoes.
“If throwing up my name gives Andy Uba a CV, then I will concede that to him.”
In response to an inquiry about education, Soludo revealed that Ubah lacked a high school certificate and that he faked his own. He went on to question Ubah, who said that he has a certificate and graduated from secondary school in 1974.
The argument turned heated when Ubah claimed that Soludo did nothing as governor of Nigeria’s central bank and that he was the one who helped the renowned banker get the job.
Uba implored Soludo to join the APC, according to Soludo.
Meanwhile, the governorship election in Anambra is set for November 6, 2021.
In the midst of the state’s ongoing carnage, National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno vowed that security services would safeguard people’s safety.
