Buhari Discloses What He Plans On Doing With His Last Four Months As President

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated his desire to leave office in peace once more.

Speaking on Monday at the palace of Hashimi II El-Kanemi, the Emir of Damaturu, Buhari said he intended to use the remaining four months of his term to be steadfast in office so he could step down in peace.

The nation’s leader urged Nigerians to maintain their faith in the country while discussing the security situation in the nation.

He issued a warning to the populace not to allow any terrorist organizations to destabilize Nigeria once more.

With the four months I have left as President, I’ll continue to be steadfast and I hope that I will retire in peace, he stated.

In addition, Buhari expressed his confidence in the government’s capacity to safeguard Nigerian children’s right to an education, particularly those who have been uprooted by Boko Haram.

He said;

‘We have gone through so much as a country but I will appeal to you all to maintain steadfastness and making sure that we will not allow anybody to disorganize us again.

Speaking further, the president expressed his joy at the restoration of peace in Yobe State and Northeastern Nigeria and credited the calm to the ingenuity of Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni and his counterpart from Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum.

According to Buhari, both leaders have been tenacious in rebuilding the educational facilities, medical facilities, and other institutions that the terrorists’ misguided attacks destroyed.
