I will never die young, pray for me – Portable cries out from sick bed

 

Nigerian street pop act Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has set the online community abuzz with worry, after soliciting prayers for his health struggle since touching down from London.

MuchTalksBlog had earlier reported about Portable’s exciting time in London, where he met the British-Nigerian rapper Joseph Junior Adenuga, widely known as Skepta, and attended the prestigious British Fashion Awards.

The Zeh singer recently landed in Nigeria, and he was spotted, looking agile and delighting a crowd of locals by generously sharing stacks of pound notes.

However, the music star, who arrived fit as a fiddle, shared a photo on his Instagram story, depicting him in a sickbed, undergoing medical treatment.

In the caption of his post, the music star called for fans’ prayers, emphasizing the value of health as true wealth. He boldly declared his determination never to meet an early demise and asserted that he won’t grow weary of life.

He wrote;

“Needs u all prayers Health is wealth.. A ZAzuu I will never die young…This Life No go tire me”

Portable was among the guests who attended the 2023 British Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Monday.

Portable graced the star-studded award ceremony clad in his trademark shirtless blazer.

In now-viral videos, the singer was seen walking the red carpet in the company of sketpta, the British-Nigerian rapper and his crew.

Some music lovers also hailed the singer as he posed gallantly for photos on the red carpet.

Portable took his Instagram page to appreciate God for his latest achievement.

“Do it again BigGod Am grateful oh lord no matter how hard it is you have always been here from the beginning to the end @skepta @portablebaeby we are outside IKA OF AFRICA live in London Fashion Awards 2023,” he wrote.
