Trevor Noah reveals he will host 66th Grammy Awards in 2024

Trevor Noah will host the Grammy Awards 2024 ceremony, the South American comedian announced on his Spotify podcast What Now? With Trevor Noah on Thursday.

It will be the fourth time that Noah will host the prestigious music awards event. He already hosted the ceremony three times — in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

“I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that,” the former Daily Show host said on the podcast. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it while it’s happening.

Noah himself has received a nomination for his stand-up special I Wish You Would (2022) in the Best Comedy Album category. He is the fifth host of the Grammys to receive a nomination while also hosting the show. He received his first Grammy four years back for his album Son of Patricia in the Best Comedy Album category.

Back in 1980, Kenny Rogers became the first artist to receive an award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for The Gambler while also being an anchor.

Besides being the host, Noah will also be a producer of next year’s Grammy Awards show alongside Fulwell 73 Productions for the fourth consecutive year. The show’s executive producers include Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor and Jesse Collins.

The 39-year-old comedian shot to international fame as the host of The Daily Show, an Emmy Award-winning satirical news program on Comedy Central channel. He also won a Primetime Emmy in 2017 for his spin-off show The Daily Show – Behind the Scenes, which featured Desi Lydic, Dulcé Sloan, Ronny Chieng, and Michael Kosta, as well as contributors Jordan Klepper and Lewis Black.

The 66th Grammy Awards Show will be televised live on February 4, 2024 from Los Angeles on American channel CBS from 8pm to 11:30 pm ET and 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm PT, with streaming options on Paramount+.
