Bruno Fernandes refuses to commit to new deal because of one major concern
Manchester United’s star midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly refused to sign a bumper new contract worth a whopping £200,000-per week.
Fernandes, 26, only joined United a little over 12-months ago, however, due to his incredible on-field contributions, the Portuguese playmaker has already been tipped for a new deal.
After featuring in 63 games, in all competitions, Fernandes has racked up a monumental 56 direct goal contributions.
His inspired form has had a profound effect on his team-mates and is arguably the main reason why the club is so keen to tie him down even longer.
However, according to a recent report from the The Sun, the 26-year-old has recently rejected the chance to sign a new deal, believed to be worth nearly £1m a month.
It has been claimed that the midfielder will only sign on the dotted line once the club gives him assurances over their transfer plans.
Fernandes is believed to want answers following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s recent warning to fans not to expect a summer of recruitment.
