Two Children Killed In Horror Car Crash South Of Ipswich

Two children have been killed in a car crash at Peak Crossing, south of Ipswich.

The car spun out of control on Middle Road at about 2.45pm, before hitting a culvert and careering into a tree.

The bodies of a three-year-old and five-year-old were found at the scene.

A woman and an eight-year-old child were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Muchtalksblog understands the car had earlier passed police positioned on the side of the road with a radar device.

Police were following the driver when they came upon the crash site soon after.

Officers and passers-by have been offered counselling.
