Borussia Dortmund ‘would allow Jadon Sancho to go to Manchester United for at least £117m’

Borussia Dortmund have set the price it will take for England star Jadon Sancho to leave the club this summer – £117million, according to reports.
The 20-year-old is one of the hottest properties in world football after impressing for the Bundesliga side.
Manchester United are leading the race to sign Sancho and Dortmund will allow him to go to the Premier League outfit for at least £117m, according to BILD
Sancho is reportedly keen to return to England three years after he made the switch from Manchester City to the German top flight.
United face competition from Real Madrid, Liverpool and City in the battle to acquire Sancho’s signature.
Sportsmail reported earlier this week that United are willing to wait for Dortmund to drop their asking price.
The report from BILD claims that Dortmund still have hopes of keeping Sancho for another year with the offer of a new lucrative contract.
Sportsmail understands that United are ready to bide their time this summer to put pressure on the German club to reduce their demands for a player who only cost £10m in 2017.
Old Trafford chief Ed Woodward has already warned that football needs to be more realistic about transfer fees in the post-Covid era in direct response to speculation about Sancho and £200m-rated Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
United have more money to spend than most clubs but they are still unwilling to pay over the odds for Sancho.
The Premier League giants are aware that being able to offer Sancho Champions League football could be an important factor in signing him, but not a deal breaker according to sources. Ole Gunnar Solskjaers side currently trail fourth-placed Chelsea by five points in the table and face Sheffield United on Wednesday night.
