Man, wife gang up against former girlfriend

The police in Ogun have arrested a man, identified as Osas Onyeokweni, and his wife, Tomisin, for allegedly molesting and indecently assaulting a 20-year-old lady in Lusada, Agbara area of the state.

It is understood that Osas had lured the victim, who was his former girlfriend under the guide that he had an important issue to discuss with her.

However, on the agreed date the victim met Osas and his wife at the meeting venue, Lusada, the duo allegedly lured her into an uncompleted building where Tomisin, helped by her husband, pulled a pair of scissors and used it to slit her dress, leaving her naked.

Osas was said to have wrestled his former girlfriend to the ground, pinned her there while his wife forced an empty bottle of Alomo bitters into her private part.

The couple allegedly took pictures of her naked and threatened to upload them on the internet if she reported the incident to anyone.

The victim was, however, not cowed by the threats, reporting the assault at the Agbara Divisional Headquarters, leading to the arrest of Osas and his wife.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Monday, said the couple admitted committing the crime during interrogation.

No reason has yet been adduced for the horrific crime.
