Michael Keaton in Talks to Reprises His Role as Batman in ‘Flash’ Movie
Michael Keaton is reportedly in talks to return as Bruce Wayne, whom he portrayed in Tim Burton’s two Batman movies in the ’80s and ’90s. This time, he will appear in The Flash.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Keaton has been discussing with the studio about returning to the character for DC’s The Flash, a standalone movie focused on Ezra Miller’s portrayal of the titular character.
And if this deal clicks, Keaton wouldn’t just return for Flash, he possibly will star in several other DC-oriented film projects.
Speaking about this possibility, sources told THR that the role being envisioned for the veteran actor is akin to the role played by Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, something of a mentor or guide or even string-puller
