Stephen Bing, Movie Writer and Producer Has Passed Away at 55


Famous Hollywood writer, producer and philanthropist, Stephen Bing has died at the age of 55 years.
The producer was pronounced dead on Monday June 22, after committing suicide by jumping from the 27th floor of his luxury apartment building in LA’s Century City neighbourhood.
During the course of his career, Bing produced the 2000 Sylvester Stallone movie, ‘Get Carter’ as well as other notable works like co-writing the action comedy, ‘Kangaroo Jack’.
According to TMZ, sources said the millionaire had suffered a bout of depression due to lack of human contact during quarantine.
Stephen Bing inherited a $600 million fortune from his grandfather, Leo Bing, who was a real estate developer and founded the Shangri-La Entertainment.
He is survived by his two children, Damian Hurley from his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley and daughter Kira Bonder, who he had with former pro tennis player Lisa Bonder.
