Najeebat Sule: Father of ex-Miss Nigeria witnessed daughter’s murder

 

The father of Najeebat Sule, a former Nigerian beauty queen, reportedly witnessed the murder of his daughter in the United States.

MuchTalksBlog had reported that Najeebat Sule was shot to death in front of her home in March.

The incident took place in Philadelphia. Equally important, the deceased is a former Miss Nigeria. Najeebat Sule was killed on March 12 after a gunman wearing a mask shot her while she was sitting in her car in front of her home just before 6pm.

Now, her distraught father has told reporters in the US that he witnessed the shooting.

“This is the guy that shot my daughter. I tried to pursue him. I don’t know what to do, where to start now,” the father told ABC.

Further, the father, who pleaded with the media in the US to exclude his name for fear for his family’s safety, claimed he saw the gunman in front of their Frankford Avenue home in Philadelphia. Najeebat Sule, who friends called Najee, was said to be coming home for the day when the incident occurred. The ex-beauty queen, 24, had reportedly relocated to the United States from Nigeria.

A graduate of West Chester University, the deceased had completed a Master’s degree and was studying for a Ph.D.

Her murder remains unresolved, with Police in the US currently unable to find any suspects or motive.

Meanwhile, reports monitored in the US media indicate that one of the victims in the Virginia Beach shooting was the cousin of music artiste, Pharrell Williams.On his official Instagram account on Monday, the artiste, producer and artist posted a picture of 25-year-old Donovon Lynch.

Further, he confirmed that he was shot and killed by police at the Oceanfront Friday night.
