Every year, Forbes releases the list of Youngest Billionaires in the world. The earliest list was released in March.
Kylie Jenner was on top of the list as a youngest richest billionaire after March list release but Forbes dethroned her for her billionaire status after they found new evidence in April.
Below is the updated list of 10 youngest billionaires for the year 2020.
1. Alexandra Andersen, 24
Alexandra Andersen has been the youngest billionaire for three consecutive years until Kylie took over in 2019. She was 19 by then. She and her elder sister, Katharina Andersen, joined the list when they inherited 42% share of their family-owned business, Ferd. Now aged 24, Alexandra Andersen is estimated to be worth $1.3 billion as revealed by Forbes. She is a Norwegian and a Norwegian champion horse riding.
2. Katharina Andersen, 25
She is the elder sister of Alexandra Andersen and the second youngest billionaire in the world. Also, just like her sister, she came under the spotlight in 2016 as the second-youngest billionaire by age and she still remains. She has the same net worth as her sister at $1.3 million. Their dad, Johan Andersen still manages his company, Ferd and has 70% votes through a dual-share class structure.
Katharina is now schooling in a London University after she graduated from Amsterdam University College.
3. Gustav Magnar Witzoe, 27
Gustav Magnar Witzoe who is also a Norwegian became a billionaire at age 19 when he inherited 47% of shares of his father’s company, which is into Salmon Farming. His father, Gustav Witzoe is still alive and continues to run the company as the founder.
Junior Gustav on the other hand is making good use of his wealth inherited by creating his own path in property investments and Tech startups.
Currently, his net worth is at $2.9 billion as at June 2020.
4. Jonathan Kwok, 28
Jonathan Kwok took charge of Empire Group Holdings, a property development firm that was established by his late father, Walter Kwok after he died in 2018. Today, Jonathan is the director at the group, overseeing real estates investments, project developments and asset management operations. He is Asia’s youngest billionaire and has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion.
5. Elisabeth Furtwaengler, 28
Elisabeth Furtwaengler is new to the youngest billionaires list. She is the daughter of Hubert Burda, a German publisher giant called Burda Media Group and to Maria Furtwaengler, a Doctor/Actress.
Elisabeth has an inheritance of 25% stake from her father’s company which has 600 media titles in over 24 countries.
She is among the Board of Directors of the company and she is also a singer and a songwriter using the stage name, Lisa Fou.
Elisabeth Furtwaengler current net worth is estimated at $1.3 billion.
