Movie roles are mostly defined by Producers and Directors and therefore every actor or actress is expected to go by the script, but a Nollywood actress has challenged the status quo by setting her one rules.

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, who has won several awards in the entertainment industry.

Ruth Kadiri has won several awards, including; Actress of the year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in the year 2015, Best Female Viewer’s choice, Best on-screen Duo with Majid Michel at Golden Academy Movie Awards, Best Nollywood Awards, all in the same year.

Ruth Kadiri has a personal rule that governs the roles she plays in movies – No Kissing in movies- and she has kept it till she got married.

Ruth Kadiri joins the likes of Mercy Johnson, who also does not kiss in Nollywood movies.
